I was planning to use a USB webcam which has a Mic built in.

Nope but how about something more expensive? I use a NOKIA HDW-3 bluetooth headset with Skype without problems fella and im on a mini too!!

I used my Plantronics M2500 bluetooth headset with my G5, but most of the time friends couldn't hear me and only heard a noise at the background. This is probably because I have the old/first chipset of bluetooth in my G5...
