Skype G3 Problem

Hello all, i am trying to help my sister in-law over the internet with a skype problem. She recently updated skype now it doesn't launch. I believe she doesn't meet the minimum requirements as it specifies a G4 800mhz whereas she has a G3 600mhz running 10.4.11 could this be the problem ? I doubted it myself at first but i am running out of options ! I have searched the skype site for previous builds but no dice ! Has anyone else had this problem ? Perhaps a link to older versions ? Thanks in advance...

It sounds like that could be the problem, yes. All the previous version of Skype are available here to download.
