Skype in OS Lion

I can't seem to login to skype. I am using Lion I just did a recovery to fix all the errors. I get the error message check your network connections. I could login before

Works fine for me

I uninstalled then reinstalled it seems to work but this morning I got 2 copies of skype running. I'm not sure how that is possible.

Well did you check your network connection? System Preferences>Network>Assist Me>Diagnostics and report back.

I uninstalled then reinstalled it seems to work but this morning I got 2 copies of skype running. I'm not sure how that is possible.

Just quit one of them

internet connection is working properly.
