greetings. I have been using skype on my imac for a few years.

I am now working at a job that involves using skype to transfer calls.
The version I have doesn't allow me to do this and I would very much appreciate help in finding a version that does so that I will be able to work from home

many thanks

Since you don't say what version you're running of anything. Have you checked the Skype website and tried the latest version of the software? Or checked there for answers?

Hi,

From a little research I just done, it seems the feature was removed in Version 5.0.

Skype 2.8.0.866 seems to be the one you are after.

System Requirements of Skype 2.8.0.866
Mac OS X 10.3 Panther
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger (Intel)
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger (PowerPC)
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard (Intel)
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard (PowerPC)

Additional Requirements
Mac OS X 10.3.9
Mac OS X 10.4 PowerPC (PPC)
Mac OS X 10.4 Intel
Mac OS X 10.5 PowerPC (PPC)
Mac OS X 10.5 Intel

If your computer is operating any of the above versions of OSX you should be ok. If not you might be able to find an old mac on ebay.
