It's not like it was updated for iOS 7 guys, it was updated for iOS 6.
I already knew that, but I thought I'd go ahead and respond so the OP knew.
I'm aware that it has been updated for iOS6, but shouldn't a new OS still have backwards compatibility and support for Apps that work in older version? While I understand that some of the code might or will be deprecated, that doesn't mean they should stop working.
Am I right?
Can anyone confirm if IM works without crashing now?
Thanks
It does video/audio like Skype as well?Worked once after a re-install, now crashes everytime. Use IM+ Pro to log in to your Skype account instead. Works brilliantly.
But really only for messaging purposes, otherwise it's still perfectly functional, right?Crashes for me. Everytime. I've given up on Skype on iOS 7 now.
Perhaps that might be in reference to the next one that will come out at some point. After all usually the version that's released in the App Store has been submitted to Apple some time ago, so it might no longer really be considered the "next" version by the developer while Apple is reviewing it after submission.A dev in the Skype forums actually said the next version should fix it. Guess he was wrong. Very disappointed.
