i have both an iMac G5 (isight) and a Macbook Core 2 Duo.

both machines run skype video conferencing EXTREMELY slow and choppy, almost to the point to where nothing is understood. i have used my macbook at school with skype with no problems with the same (and only) person on the other end of the line.

i have a Belkin pre-n router, which i believe is the cause of the problem. I have tried forwarding the ports of the specified port, (anyone know what the default port for skype is? i changed it) just TCP, then both TCP and UDP, then just UDP, to NO AVAIL.

please help!

The default port (54xxx) is in the preferences.

Is this for both Video and Audio? I used the test call number that comes up with Skype and have the 54xxx configured in both my Firewall on the MBP and my NAT Router uner Port Forwarding. Is there any others that needs to be configured?
