I don't know if this has been posted yet or not, buyI just got my iPhone 3GS and was testing apps, and I brought up Skype. I am currently only connected via edge, and was able to place a test call on skype to the call testing service. It brought up a notification saying non supported os, but placed the call anyway. Can anyone else confirm that this works for them?

HUH... isn't skype and VOIP application where it makes calls over Wifi? that doesn't make sense

I got the same message however can not place calls over Edge or 3G.

"APP_UNSUPROTED_OS..."

Well, that didn't last long, I didn't get an error messge this time when opening, but gave the usual no voip over edge or 3g connections error message. It was fun while it lasted!:p
