IF bluetooth rumor is true, I think a skype application for the ipod touch would be amazing. Would that be a possible wish to have?

It's already possible- you can hook a headset up to the headphone jack and it will work. All that's missing is the app. Download Palringo IM in the meantime- it lets you record and send that audio recording in an IM window on your Touch.
 
Since the 2G has microphone input, you don't need BT to allow for Skype or other VOIP applications.

Don't take this the wrong way, however a quick search on the word "Skype" in the iPod Touch forum would have discovered these, and many more helpful threads :) .

Every time someone posts a thread like this one, I keep thinking that Skype was released for the iPod touch. Sadly again, it was a false alarm :( . Haha still good times :)
