How do I perform a Clean Installation of Snow Leopard? I mean like in erase every single thing except for the OS. Thanks!

In DU, the Erase options are grayed out, so I can't seem to be able to use that. I want to reinstall the OS, this time, erasing everything first.

Ok, well I assure you those threads will show you that. However, basically you reboot with the SL disc in your drive while holding down C. You then boot from the install disk, go to utilities, format your drive, then once you close disk utility you'll be taken back to the install screen with SL.

You need to click the main drive.

Ouch, I'm sorry :) It's just that I've never done that before, and I was not used to the DU on the disc. Thanks a lot!
