So before Snow Leopard, you were able to select which colorsync profile was to be embedded by going to devices in colorsync (when the device was connected), and changing the default profile to something other than CameraRGB.
While I can still do this, if I unplug and replug, it reverts back to CameraRGB. Not a problem on sRGB since they are close, but it will embed the camera RGB even when using the adobeRGB color space.
This is important because it affects how iPhoto imports images.
