Backstory/Problem: I upgraded from Leopard on late 2007 MB yesterday (not a 'clean install'). After rebooting, mail & iChat prompted me to type in my password each time I opened them, even though I would click the 'remember password' box. Mail in fact would require me to type in my password 3-4 times before it would take it. Opening mobileme prefs in Syspref would result in a pop-up notifying me that my keychain was broken (or somethign along those lines). Ran firstaid on keychains, also repaired permissions. Nothing. Restarting would fix the problem, but only for a little bit, then back to the buggyness. Apple support had me delete the com.apple.security.plist file in Lib/Preferences. Problem persevered.

The Fix: turned off keychain syncing in mobileme. Have not had a problem since. [fingers crossed]
