When I'm using my STANDARD account, I'm entering my ADMIN account name and password (when prompted) %100 right and my mac's telling me that I've entered the name or password wrong. What gives? Whats going on? For example, when I want to change a security setting in System Preferences and snow leopard prompts me to enter my Admin name/password.....it continues to say its wrong; i know its right.

Caps Lock?

Restart?

Repair Permissions?
I have Cocktail for mac but a snow leopard version isn't out yet, so I'll repair permissions with Disk Utility for now. Yes, it's been restarted a few times since upgrading to SL. No caps lock on, I'm entering it correct. When I log out of my standard account and into my Admin account, I'm typing the same name and password that SL is denying when I'm in my standard account trying to do something that requires admin permission...so I know its the right name/password, just dont know why it keeps denying it in my standard account.
he said 100% correct :p well maybe repair permissions will do

let's see...
