SL: photoshop CS3 not launching while FontExplorer X running

Has anyone encountered a problem on Snow Leopard where Photoshop CS3 will not launch while Linotype FontExplorer X is running?
 
This issue seems to be fixed after updating FontExplorer X from version 1.2.2 to 1.2.3.
