I have verified both the backup media and media I am installing on and both are good. This is a restore of a freshly installed copy of SL server. The only thing I did before TM was started and the backup was made is I did a software update.
This is my first time playing with 10.6 Server and I seriously doubt I would ever use Time Machine in a production environment however is TM known to be less reliable on server then client? This is the first time I have had a TM restore fail on me that wasn't a hardware problem.
