This is my first post on the forums, so hey to everyone. I want to say that this site has been a great source of information and through searching has answered pretty much all of my jailbreaking questions.

First off, is this even possible? I have no inclination or want to have winterboard on my phone.
Or is there something similar to this that doesn't require wb?

Thank you for your time, it's nice to be able to learn so much from such an active community, cheers!

Possible? Yes. I believe most of the slanted themes are created using CSS. It will depend on your level of expertise with coding HTML and CSS. The files can be applied via SSH.

while I would love to be able to do this, I do not know much about css.

I can navigate SSH but I am hardly proficient at it.

Maybe someone has done it could give me some tips, but if not then thank you for your reply!

Winterboard seems to be getting outdated, yes or no?

Is there anything else in the works to eventually replace it>

The consensus from this board seems to be that those who've used Winterboard on the iPhone 4 aren't experiencing any of the issues that plagued earlier versions/older phones (slower & less memory). Even people who hated it on the 3/3GS have said it's way better on the 4. Most of us are just fine with it.

Turn off Summerboard compatibility and it's fine.
