iPod touch Sleep button is stuck, what should I do?

I have a 4G iPod touch and the sleep button is stuck, but it'll still work if I press hard enough. It's not responsive like the volume buttons and it looks/feels loose.

It's obviously not a software issue, I think it may be clogged or something. Any suggestions on how I can fix it? Or should I just take it to a genius bar considering my warranty ends in September?

The Apple Store employees are the only ones who can help you. If it happened as a result of carelessness, they won't help it. It had to have been something since day one.
