My sleep button on my iPhone is not working unless alot of pressure is applied. My 2year AppleCare ended on October 3rd 2012. Fast forward to December 19th and my sleep button becomes stuck.

There is a tiny chip near the corner by the sleep button FYI.

What are my options beside buying a new phone :(

Thanks.

If you're handy with a screwdriver you can replace the button, else it's an out of warranty replacement with Apple for £119

This happened to my mom too. I gave her my 4 when I got my 4S and it was out of warranty. She just took it into Apple and they checked it out. Swapped her phone out and was on her way within 10 minutes.
