I recently got the Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse and I'm using it with my 12" PowerBook. I was wondering about the sleep habits of the two. I know there are on/off buttons to save battery. I was wondering if the mouse and/or keyboard automatically go to sleep if they are not used for a period of time.

I think they might because if I come to my computer after being away for awhile, the laser on the mouse is completely off. I'm assuming it shuts off after some time. Can anyone else verify this?

I know the keyboard does this.

I accidentally left it on for like 6hrs+ once without no battery time lose. Plus there is a green light on the bottom that shuts off when it sleeps. Though I believe it'll still uses battery, only not as much since it's still keeping the signal between the bluetooths. This is why I turn it off. But it does sleep.

the mouse also goes nighty night to conserve power, but it doesn't snore so no need to worry.
