Hi
This may be a completely silly issue for this forum, but I'm going to ask it anyway. I have bought a Mac Mini Server, mainly because of the big hard disks and also to try out some server features for testing purposes. However, since this Mac Mini is at home and I do not need it the entire time, I would like to hibernate/sleep it when I am gone.
The problem is that the server wakes up around an hour after I hibernate it. I have checked system.log and do not see an obvious reason why it wakes up. I have also tried to disable most services (it won't let me disable DNS and a couple more services), but it still wakes up after an hour and doesn't go to sleep again.
Does anyone have an idea why the Mac server does not sleep in peace until I wake it? Can it be that time machine wakes it up? (==> this is essentially the only entries I find in system.log)
Thanks for any hints!
