Sleep Indicator Not Working

I noticed for two days now that the sleep indicator of my Macbook Pro doesn't light when I switch it on. So I tested it by putting my Mac to sleep. It goes to sleep, but its sleep indicator doesn't glow. Everything with my Mac is okay. Except for the sleep indicator not turning on. What seems to be the problem? Help, please? thanks!

The plug from the light to the logic board is probably, well, unplugged.

Did this just start happening recently or is your computer only 2 days old?

The problem only began two days ago. Everything is normal except for that. My computer was bought last February. Thanks!
