I have a M1 MBA connected via the Apple Multiport Adapter to an external 4K monitor .
While the setup works great, it seems to have some issue with sleep.

If I leave the computer, it never seems to go to sleep on its own.
If I put it to sleep manually, the display wakes up with 10-15 seconds.
This occurs with both clamshell mode / with the internal display running

pmset log shows the following:
However, no user activity had occurred during this period

EDIT: So I tested by unplugging all devices incl monitor and then tested sequentially
The (surprising ) culprit is an external USB microphone ! (AKG Lyra)
I am still unsure how a mic can wake the mac from sleep
