sleep issue with new rmbp 15" with 750M

Power nap is off. Wake on wifi access is off. All peripherals are unplugged except an external monitor. Yet every time i put the computer to sleep, it does not sleep. The screen turns off, but it gets very hot to the touch and apparently continues to run. However, when the external monitor is unplugged, sleep works normally without issue. In bootcamp with windows 8.1, this also does not happen.

Does anyone else have this issue?

tried both, same issue. My guess is that it has something to do with the 750M, as it is always active when a monitor is plugged in.

try a pram and smc reset?

I'm assuming the monitor is dark during this period?

Nothing worked. Yeah, the monitor is dark.
