Sleep Light Indicator (SIL) not working

I didn't realized until now that there's suppose to be a Sleep Light Indicator. It has always been annoying to find that laptop (Late 2011 MacBook Pro 17-inch) is in sleep mode instead of off.

Anyway, I can't seem to find any parts to replace.
