I've been keeping an eye on my power consumption since 10.8 on my 13" MBA and I've noticed that Sleep Mode will drain at least 30% of power per 24h... of sleep since 10.8.2!!!
I use to recharge every 3 days. Now it's like every day or day and a half.

I remember reading something about 'keeping a light on' in 10.8 but if that's the case, I'd like to know how to shut that light

Anyone else noticed this?

Do you have Power Nap enabled? It will periodically check for email, notifications, etc. It will drain your battery faster, but not sure how much faster. If you do have it enabled, try disabling it and see how your battery life is.

My Retina loses about 3% overnight (generally from 6:00 PM to 10:00 AM). I'll have to check my Air.

Power Nap... yes I remember now. It's disabled!

Are you leaving Bluetooth on? If so, that can cause quite a drain while sleeping.

Wireless and Bluetooth (for the KB and mouse) have always been on and Power Nap off under 10.8 and 10.8.1.

I saw an immediate difference with 10.8.2 and started turning off Wireless before 'sleeping'... but still...
