Hi,

I have made good use of the sleep function to save energy on my eMac [1.25, running 10.3.5]. However, I am currently doing two things where I need the computer to stay awake: bidding automatically on eBay overnight, and running a listserv.

Now that I want the computer to NOT go to sleep, it refuses to obey me. I have done the obvious in System Prefs., moving the slider for "put the computer to sleep" to Never. With the other control, "put the display to sleep", I have checked it and moved and slider to Never, and I have also unchecked it. Still the same problem. When I wake up in the morning, Mr eMac has gone to the land of Nod himself!

Can anyone help with this?
