Hi,

I'm able to use Wake-on-Lan to remotely wake up my sleeping Mac Mini (PPC).
What I want to know is if there is an opposite equivalent - i.e. a command to sleep (not shut down) my awake mac.
Obviously there are many ways to remote access the mac like Remote Desktop, VNC, etc. I am not talking about any solution that involves controlling it remotely via the desktop interface.
I need a very low bandwidth way of telling it to sleep. Basically I need a hypothetical "sleep-on-LAN" packet - do they exist? I guess there is probably a way to SSH into the machine and do it via the command line, which would be acceptable. It just needs to be quick and simple to actually do.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ben
