Hi,
I have OSX 10.3.6.
Is there a way to put the computer to sleep via keystrokes. Currently I use the command under the big Blue Apple.

Frank

Go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts. Add a shortcut by pressing the "+" button. Type "Sleep" in the Menu name and then create a shortcut key combination (like Command-Option-S or something) and click Add.

You will probably need to relaunch Finder (use the Force Quit dialog) to get it to work.

Got it thanks.

I couldn't get it to "take" but I changed my command line and it worked.

I did "Open Apple-Option-Z

On my PB, I touch the Power button (just like a key), then hit "S," when the dialog box comes up - which is immediately.

If there's a power button on your keyboard, this should work for you, too. I'm not familiar with the Apple desktops, though - unfortunately!
