sleep problems in ibook clamshel with Tiger

Hi...I have modified a real nice lime 366 with a 60gb hard drive and dvd/cdrom mod with 320ram and Tiger. Works perfect except won't wake from sleep. I can sleep the ibook manually and it wakes fine, but when it auto sleeps from the energy saving settings, it won't wake up. I have read everything from resetting the PMU to needing to set the hard drive as 'slave' (using jumper...I haven't done) to problems with Tiger. Also, when it sleeps via the energy setting, there is no green pulsing light...maybe not really sleeping...when i hit a key, the screen comes on a little dim, but then can't do anything...If I sleep manually, the pulsing light and all sleeps and wakes fine...Just trying to figure out what is wrong as I'd like it to sleep with energy setting properly. I have other clamshells running Tiger that sleep just fine...Wold love to know if this is a software, hard drive, logic board or whatever issue. Any expert advice or where to find it would be appreciated....Thanks, Rick
