I had my Mac Pro set so the display goes to sleep, but the CPU never does.

Overnight though, the Mac Pro went to sleep

I was wondering if there was any reason for this.

No settings ever changed.

Also, I left my computer booted in Vista for about 5 hours, and while I was gone, it somehow restarted itself into OS X while I was gone for that time period.

If anyone has experienced this or knows why it may be happening please let me know

have you checked the default settings in system preferences/energy saver?

Yeah, like I said in my posts, the settings are set so only the display will sleep.

And when I woke my MP up after it went to sleep, the settings still said the CPU should never go to sleep.
