I've encountered the sleep sound bug in the past (headphones plugged in, no sound upon waking up the Macbook), but it's getting a bit ridiculous now, literally have to restart the laptop every day to get sound.
As far as I know this is a software issue with Mavericks, so I guess going to the Apple store won't help. It's almost been four months since Mavericks was released, how has this issue still not been fixed?!
