Sleep Timer and Spotify

I have a latest-generation iPod Touch. It worked initially, but now the sleep timer does not work with Spotify. If I am playing music on Spotify and set the sleep timer, it does not stop the music.

Has anyone gotten this to work, or used a third-party timer app that works?

There's a thread in Spotify website saying it's an iOS issue, so there's probably nothing we can do to fix it except waiting for an Apple update..
