Sleep Wake Failure

My MBP sometimes fails to wake up from sleep. No buttons will make it wake up, and my only choice is to hold the power button down long enough to force it to reboot. As far as know, this only happens after it's been sleeping for at least a few hours. It's very frustrating, as all my open documents is either lost (if they weren't saved) or opens in recovery mode.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

I have seen this sporadically with a Mac Mini but no obvious reason why. Do you have a reason you haven't upgraded to 10.10.4? If not, I'd suggest updating and then seeing if the problem continues.

No specific reason, I will try to do the update and see if it helps, but I have experienced this problem for a while, even with the previous versions of OSX. Also, I don't have anything connected (usb drives etc).
