Sleep/wake issue?

I'm not sure how this works exactly. I'm using a Toblino 2 case with magnets inside for the sleep/wake feature. If I open and close it within a few seconds, it turns on and off. When I let it sit for a few hours, I need to wake with a button. Another issue is that it will not wake at all and I need to hold both buttons for 10 seconds.

Any help would be great.
