Funny thing happened. I went to check the Apple Store at 1:40 AM (don't ask me why i'm still up) and the page wouldnt load. In fact, it crashed my web browser. Never did that before.

I opened up a new web browser and the Apple Store loaded up normally, but that crash was a sign !!! I now feel tomorrow the updated MBP will be announced. However, I think you might have to wait a bit for shipping. Maybe 2-3 weeks.

Threads like this have been started almost every night since the buzz about the new MBP started. I wouldn't really take it as a sign, but feel free to dream.

(Of course, if they do release it tomorrow, I'm going to feel like a jerk :p )

i'm praying for an update, but the store loaded fine for me

As others have mentioned, I'm betting the 10.5.2 update will have to be finished before any new MBP. MBAs will also need to get out of the news a little bit. I don't think the SSD models have shipped, so doubtful for a new MBP.

I hope they start to add a Blu-ray Drive option. Help twist that dagger in HD DVD a little bit more so people will buy more movies and drive prices down!

its super tuesday... they gotta be doing something

How did "Sen. Obama, do you prefer Mac OS or Windows?" never make it into those YouTube debates? But I blame Wolf Blitzer more for not picking up the slack last week. Do we really want someone using Windows Vista with their finger on the World War III button?
