I've got an iMac with the Thunder Bay 4 (TB) (SSD boot drive + 3 HDDs) and I've had this issue where after sleeping the Mac, the TB goes to sleep but then immediately wakes back up and this cycle repeats indefinitely. Note: the Mac itself is not waking up - at least the screen remains off.

I thoroughly tested the Orico (removing USB devices one by one) but found that only removing its power cable (or unplugging the Orico's USB) would solve the issue and let the TB sleep.

I'm wondering why leaving the Orico's power plugged in would be causing the TB to continually wake up, and if there's no solution, what alternatives I can look at so that everything works properly.

Appreciate any input.
