I'm using MBP but I make this post here because more eyeballs here than in the MBP subforum. The question is relevant to MBA users too!

Before now I used 11-inch MBA. Years ago I bought a great case, made by Hard Candy. Case is sturdy. Totally *not* soft. The kind of product that works to protect the computer's top face when an unopened water bottle drops from above. Here's an Amazon page:

Would you readers please give recommendations for something similar? A case that's nonsoft, sturdy, rigid. I have a tomtoc zipper product en route but I suspect the design/material is nonsturdy. I've taken a look at 'Thule briefcase' product, which *is* sturdy -- but it's sized generically (not for MBP specifically) and it feels thin.

Thanks!

I'm really loving the Waterfield Dash Sleeve.

Usually I buy the canvas and waxed leather Waterfield sleeves, but I don't like the sound of velcro opening during meetings. I tried the magnetic one but it felt and looked more like a bag than a sleeve.
