I just purchased MacBook Pro (8,1) and I'd like to get a sleeve for my laptop.

can you guys suggest which one is good sleeve?

I am looking at the Speck PixelSleeve right now for my 13".

It's expensive to ship to canada, but from what I've read quality is excellent.

all the good acessories are made int he US and shipping to canada is insane.

i bought a moshi palmgaurd from the US since thats where moshi ships from, 15 dollars to ship it!

Moshi palmguard is 15-20$ shipping to canada, I already looked into those. I really like the clear guard. Speck shipping is 22$ .. making a 40$ item into a 60$ item.

I personally don't recommend a sleeve for a macbook. My friend works at an apple store and there have been lots of complaints about it. When for exemple a little piece of steel e.g. a paperclip or a little rock gets stuck in there it can possibly do a lot of damage.

Just be careful with it :)

The booq Vyper is the best protection I've ever seen in a notebook sleeve. In my opinion, it offers far better protection than any neoprene case, the zippers never come into contact with your MBP, and it looks great!

If you're on a budget, I'd recommend the ones from Caselogic. They make high-quality neoprene sleeves for under $25 shipped on Amazon.
