Proudly purchased a 15" rMBP. Feels robust, but at this price tag I wouldn't mind a little more protection. Can anyone recommend a solid hard shell for it? I like the Speck shells and I've used them before, but not exactly keen on turning my Macbook into a Sweetart either...Thanks

Speck does offer a clear hard case for the 15" rMBP. My wife uses it on her rMBP and seems to like it. We got it from the local Apple Store but they also sell it online.

Best fitting one I've found is Speck. The others don't fit well usually (the cheap ones on ebay)

Thanks for that...You made me realize a hard shell was the wrong move. I think I've always preferred sleeves and you reminded me of that :)

I've looked at a few - anyone have experience with the following?

Crumpler
Timbuk2
Rickshaw

All these companies have sleeves that fit, but do they fit well? Hard to buy that if they fit regular and retina MBPs. I especially like the Goldschlagers Carpet from Crumpler. Thanks!
