The desert
I tried a few things but nothing seems to do what I want. Basically I'm want to get rid of the Slide to Unlock. I don't want to make it invisible or anything like that I want to completely get rid of the Slide to Unlock option from my lockscreen and use Activator to assign the unlock key to something else.

Any ideas?

PS its an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 installed

Thanks for the reply however it doesn't seem to do what I want. I don't know maybe I'm just using it wrong.

I have set it like this

and the lockscreen now looks like this

but what I want is for the slide to unlock function to be completely gone from my iphone and as you can see it isn't.................thanks for trying though.

New tweak, completely hides the entire slider. Better have activator installed though! You'll need a way to get to your homescreen.

"Slidetomod" is the tweek.

Try 'Hide Slider Background' as well as what you already had turned on.

Yeah tried that also but didn't help - thanks

Thanks Ive just tried this one, all the other options seem to work ie hide the camera icon etc but the unlock bar is still visible and active....... Im wondering if springtomize2 is conflicting somehow? Ive contacted the dev to see what he thinks.

I don't think its springtomize causing slidetomod not to work properly.

Ive just done a clean restore and JB with redsn0w 0.9.10b5 on iOS 5.0.1 the only apps Ive installed are Cydia, Activator and Slidetomod.

All the other options appear to work correctly but the hide "Unlock Bar" option is a big fat fail.
