Slider not working on iphone, ipod

Hello, please take a look at the following sites:

site 1
site 2

In site 1 the slider is not working.
In site 2 the slider works fine.

If I enable the safari debugger I see the following error on site 1 (no errors with site 2):

Code: 
TypeError: Result of expression '$("#showcase").awShowcase' [undefined] is not a function.

How do you think I can resolve the error and make the slider work fine on iPhone?
