I am looking into get a slider for a mix of real estate video and commercials.

So I am not too sure if I need a 2ft or 4ft. My worry is bending while it is on the tripod with the 4ft.

What brands have you had luck with?

I am shooting with a 5dii and usually a prime (no tele or big lenses to front load)

I need one to mount on a tripod.

I made my own .... a short aluminium ladder and a trolley with some wheels that runs along it (had to get my father in law to modify the wheels so that they had a lips on .... bit like train wheels running along tracks). I mounted an old tripod head onto the trolley to help with framing. It works good for me. I can place it on the floor or use 2 lighting stands to get it higher.
Here's a video that I used it on:

Most of the moves I do with it are only short - about 30cm.... I think slow and short work well.

Kessler makes a quality product but they are expensive. It all depends on budget.
