Slideshow for Macbbok

I have been using the slideshow option as a screensaver on my Macbook but the pictures keep repeating..the folder I chose has a hek of a lot of pictures in it but most of them don't get seen..

Was wondering if there was a app anyone could recommend to use to make a slideshow ( could use lightroom but it is far too slow) ..
