Slideshow from folder, with remote add

I have a folder with images. I need to run a slideshow of that folder...

normally thats no problem, but here's the catch... I need to be able to add images remotely via the network...

How can I do that? can i add to iPhoto remotely, add to preview remotely or have either of them just read from a folder?

Also, Im a little bit in a hurry...
