Hi

On my new MBP I have a slightly damaged display,it look likes a small groove. This is at the top of the screen, slightly off centre.

There's about 2 white pixels and 2 dead ( grey ) pixels ( those pixels are really small ). I can't see the groove.

It doesn't bother me so much - its in the menu bar. Everything else is fine about the machine.

Because its a physically damaged display, bearing in mind it doesn't bother. Do you think I should return it ( BTO - so that means posting )- and run the risk of more problems?

In all honesty, as it is physical damage I would definitely return it. A few dead pixels I would accept, but not physical damage to any extent.

Then again, you obviously run the risk of getting one with a less perfect display in other regards.
