Slim headphone adapter that works with Bose QuietComfort 25?

Anyone know of a slim headphone adapter/extender that'll work with the Bose QuietComfort 25 headphones? The original plug is not long enough to pass through my battery pack case (Apple brand). It would be nice if the volume controls and mic on the cord worked, but sound quality is my primary concern.
 
A simple female to male 3.5mm TRS cable will do, or you can use a Bluetooth adaptor like the Bose Aptx model or the tiny Sony Smart Handset (since the QCs have their own amplifier).
