I have a hundred or more contacts on my iPhone/iCloud file that I very seldom call. Is there a way to thin out those contacts but keep them somewhere else and still have access to them if they are needed later?

Many Thanks.

Do you have a Mac that you sync your iPhone to? If your contacts are in the Mac's Contacts app, you can export them from their as an archive.

You can make a new contact group called Archive or whatever, then move all those into that group. Then put everything else in another group called Current. Then on your iPhone go into Contacts and tap Groups up top and only check mark Current and uncheck everything else. Then only the Current contacts will be shown on your iPhone.

Excellent! Thank you.
