SlingBox Pro for Macintosh, IR Emitter problem

I've set up the SlingBox Pro all the way until I get to the DirecTV box and code. I selected my code, but it will not turn the box off or turn the channel. I've tried a ton of different codes and have no idea what to do. I get video and signal, and I did the Camera test and the IR cables are working right. I just cannot get it to cut the box off and on or change the channel. thanks for any help.

btw, I am using a Hughes HIRD-E2

any suggestions??? thanks a ton!
