I have a slingbox pro HD and am using it to stream to my Ipad 3. *The audio at HQ settings is terrible, very tinny and sounds very compressed (almost like a low bitrate 32kbps). *Streaming to the mac is fine – no audio issues. *The Video is fine for both Mac and Ipad. *Im running the latest firmware/software on Ipad and slingbox.
Has anyone else had similar problems?
Is there a fix?*
I'd be grateful for the help.

Thanks.

I have been using SlingPlayer on the iPad 3 for a while and sound thru the speakers has always been decent. It gets way better when I connect my Jambox by Jawbone thru bluetooth. I believe it is probably just a matter of the speakers on the iPad.

I have the same problem with ipad 2 & 3 & iphones when using headphones. I have Slingbox HD now, but had the same problem on a Slingbox Solo.

The audio sounds much better on my Samsung Galaxy Player through headphones. Sucks, because I barely use that thing.
