Is there anything on the rumor mill that the slingbox will be usable on OSX anytime soon? I really want it while I am at college so I just use my parents cable but I saw the requirments were Windows XP. Thanks.

I thought that they were working on a Mac version? Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Your right, slingbox is working on the player being compatible on the mac. In january, they said they would release it in the Q2. At that time, the software was still in it's alpha stages. Don't worry, slingbox has not forgotten us mac users like so many others have!

Yeah I saw that on their website they were working on a version for us. I was just wondering about when. But if you say Q2 then perfect.

Don't quote me on Q2, thats just what slingbox is saying. I do remember last year when they said they would have a mac version...but of course that didnt happen! But I have a good feeling they will come out with it soon enough.

Yep it is for surer Q2. I read an article at engadget where they tested out the Alpha version and said it was awesome. Hopefully it wont be postponed.
