Slingplayer +ipad2 + Hdmi connector = ???

I wish their hardware had built-in AirPlay support. Talk about a perfect combination, and the iPad could be left out of the equation.
I haven't tried it but I'm interested to see people's results. I live in an NYC apartment (old) where running a connection to my bedroom or a wire down the long hallway is just not feasible. I wonder if Sling could eventually allow me to utilize my ATV2 to at least get some sort of TV back here.

I've done this and while I wasn't using a "TV" I was using a pico projector, with an image size of about 65-70 inches (limitations of the room setup). Image quality was pretty good but since we were at a friend's house, we were limit to the upload speed of my provider (about 5.5 up) in terms of quality. Overall it looked great.
